BERLIN (Reuters) - German Economy Minister Philipp Roesler wants the option of bringing back online at least one of the seven oldest nuclear reactors in case of emergency, he told German daily newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
"That would mean that one to two power plants remain in a status of cold stand-by and not immediately dismantled," Roesler said in comments to be published in its Saturday edition.
Earlier, environment ministry officials in the 16 German federal states called for all seven to be permanently shut down.
