19th World Orchid Conference(R) Returns to the U.S. after 25 Years

After a quarter century in exotic locations such as Dijon, France;
Shah Alam, Malaysia; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; the World Orchid
Conference(R) will return to another exotic city for its next global
show, sale and educational symposium - Miami, Florida, U.S.A. In
preparation for this "blooming" extravaganza, the South Florida host
committee has announced that registration is underway for growers and
vendors who wish to exhibit at the Conference and orchid admirers who
wish to attend the show. The 19th World Orchid Conference(R) will be
held January 23-27, 2008, at the Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel and
Convention Center.

"The lush, tropical setting of South Florida is the perfect
backdrop for the World Orchid Conference(R)," said co-chairman Robert
Fuchs, president of South Florida Orchid Society. "With international
vendors, experts, lecturers and visitors in attendance, this event
will be the epicenter of the world for casual orchid lovers and
professional horticulturists alike."

Held once every three years in a different international location,
the World Orchid Conference(R) is the largest and most influential
gathering of orchid enthusiasts, hobbyists, growers, hybridizers, and
scientists. Rare species, fragrant floral compositions, and creative
hybrids will seduce and impress visitors to this momentous show.
Nearly 200,000 attendees are expected for the Conference, which will
feature orchids by the tens of thousands arriving from every major
orchid growing center in the world, many of which will arrive in Miami
via the Conference's official shipping partner, FedEx.

In addition to the orchid show and sale, the WOC will spotlight an
extensive seminar and lectures series on science, conservation and
horticulture, sponsored by The Arthur F. and Alice E. Adams Charitable
Foundation. There will also be parties, networking events and
sightseeing opportunities to keep attendees engaged and entertained.
