TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's trade ministry said on Wednesday it aims to lift Japan's global share in solar cell production to over one third from the current 25 percent by 2020.
A report prepared by a panel of officials from the ministry, and companies including Sharp Corp, Sanyo Electric Co Ltd and Tokyo Electric Power Co Inc is expected to be presented to a meeting of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy.
