Wall Street extends losses


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell further on Friday, with the Nasdaq index down more than 2 percent as signs of further deterioration in the labor market fueled concerns that the recession is deepening.

    * Top drags include energy shares, after Chevron's profit warning, and technology shares, as the Nasdaq wiped out gains chalked up so far in the new year.
