Analogix to Host First Slimport Summit

Analogix Semiconductor today announced it will host a developers summit, featuring its breakthrough SlimPort technology, which is based on the VESA Mobility DisplayPort (MyDP) standard. The May 17 event at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel will feature industry experts who will address current trends and the future of mobile device connectivity.

The SlimPort Summit agenda includes:

• Charge a mobile device in minutes
• Use a new mobile USB 3.0 connector, open and free to adopt, for mobile devices while remaining backward compatible
• Super speed data transfer from a mobile device while rendering HD display, a PC light experience
