Greece's new government wins confidence vote

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece's conservative-led government secured enough support to win a confidence vote on Monday after outlining plans to speed up privatisations and push through reforms to turn around the ailing economy.

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras's three-party coalition government had been expected to easily win the vote since it enjoys a majority of 179 deputies in the 300-seat parliament. (Reporting by George Georgiopoulos, Deepa Babington and Harry Papachristou)
