GT Solar Incorporated, a global provider of equipment, services
and technology solutions to the solar power industry, today announced
four key executive appointments as the company expands its executive
team in response to increasing global demand for solar power, and to
    manage the company´s continuing growth.

Robert W. Woodbury, Jr. joins the company as Chief Financial

in Economics from St. Anselm College and a MBA degree from the
    University of Miami.

Edwin L. Lewis has assumed the role of Vice President and General

comes to GT Solar from Photronics, Inc., (NASDAQ: PLAB), a leading
manufacturer of photo masks for the semiconductor and flat panel
display industries, and American Science and Engineering, Inc.
(NASDAQ: ASEI), an international manufacturer of X-ray detection
systems for protection of ports, borders and high security government
facilities. Mr. Lewis is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of the
National Federation of Independent Business Legal Foundation in
    Washington, D.C.

Brian Logue joins GT Solar as Vice President, Human Resources. Mr.
Logue brings over twenty years of global human resources experience
within the technology sector and will be responsible for the
formulation and implementation of GT Solar´s human resource strategy
and related initiatives worldwide. Prior to joining GT Solar, he was
founder and principal of Highstreet Advisors, Inc. a human resources
consulting firm providing strategic human resources solutions to
emerging technology companies throughout the US and Canada. Mr. Logue
holds a B.S. in Business Management from Rhode Island College.

CEO Tom Zarrella noted that, "One of the greatest challenges to
any fast growing company like ours is having the highest quality
professionals. The GT Solar family is delighted to announce the
appointment of four outstanding professionals to our executive team.
Bob Woodbury is a seasoned professional with the ideal mix of
financial reporting, strategic planning and risk management experience

of expertise as we continue to implement our strategic growth plans.

to navigate key areas such as international expansion, intellectual
property and public company compliance. Rick Tattersfield brings to GT
Solar a wealth of experience in global operations, including
manufacturing and supply chain. GT Solar has more than doubled its
employee base over the last two years, and possessing the expertise of
Brian Logue in human resources has never been more important."
