Banks pull Wall Street lower



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell on Friday as bank shares slid following news of a tepid debut of a key U.S. Federal Reserve measure to revive lending.

    JPMorgan dropped more than 4 percent to $23.80, making the stock one of the top drags on the Dow, while Bank of America plummeted 11 percent to $6.16.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 28.20 points, or 0.38 percent, at 7,372.60. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 7.03 points, or 0.90 percent, at 777.01. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 14.96 points, or 1.01 percent, at 1,468.52.
