In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In Milwaukee, the President will tour and deliver remarks at Master Lock, to continue to discuss his blueprint for an economy built to last based on American manufacturing and the importance of companies insourcing and investing in America.

In the afternoon, the President will depart Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Los Angeles, California.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at two campaign events.

Industrial Production (Jan.) Manufacturing has gotten off to a strong start in 2012, with business equipment demand, motor vehicles, and inventory rebuilding the big drivers.

Exports are also helping, but momentum there is not as strong as a year ago. Sharp increases in hours worked in manufacturing in the payrolls report and in motor vehicles production are very positive signals for January.

The 1.1% headline increase would be even higher but for an anticipated drop in utility output as unseasonably warm weather reduced heating needs. This would be the sixth consecutive monthly drop in utility output, unprecedented since 1972.
